Position Overview

We’re seeking a creative, aviation-savvy Social Media Content Creator to take charge of our digital storytelling across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube. This role is perfect for someone who’s equally comfortable behind a camera and behind the scenes, crafting compelling narratives, reels, and campaigns that inspire future pilots, aviation enthusiasts, and jet setters alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging, visually captivating content (videos, reels, graphics, carousels) for social media platforms
• Plan and manage a content calendar aligned with marketing and operational goals
• Capture on-location footage at events, flights, and training sessions (primarily at Angel City Flyers and SoCal airports)
• Write compelling captions, hashtags, and calls-to-action with accurate knowledge that reflect our brand voice
• Monitor performance metrics and adapt strategies to increase engagement and reach
• Collaborate with our team (marketing, instructors, ops) to source stories and opportunities
• Stay current on social trends, audio, and platform best practices to keep our brand fresh and relevant

Qualifications

• Proven experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and/or YouTube (portfolio required)
• Strong video editing and photo editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.)
• Exceptional visual storytelling skills
• Passion for aviation (pilot training experience or flight knowledge is a big plus!)
• Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and capture content on-site as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Are a student pilot or hold a PPL/CPL
• Have drone videography skills
• Have worked in the aviation, education, or luxury service industries
• Can shoot and edit short-form content optimized for each platform
